Lifeguard's Mission Statement
- To prevent new HIV infections and re-infections among negative
and positive gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSM)
- To
organize a strong community response to all the challenges we face until the pandemic is over
- To mobilize as many men in our community as possible to support each
other to stay safe and enjoy healthy sex lives, and,
- To eliminate the myths
and stereotypes about HIV/AIDS.
We acknowledge, honor, and respect the diversity of our community:
gay, bisexual, transgender, or simply "Men Who Have Sex With Men." Regardless of race, ethnicity, age or how we choose to
identify ourselves, we all have the right to receive HIV prevention education.
